Psalm 73:26 NIV says, “My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.”
Being a mom demands so much from you; every day, you’re pouring yourself out, and oftentimes, there is little time to feel refreshed. God offers a strength that can sustain you and carry you through even when you feel weak.
In those moments, lean on Him, turn to His word, find you’re purpose, value, identity, and strength in who He says you are. God is the strength of your heart and your portion forever; always remember He’s there beside you.
2) God Sees The Bigger Picture, Trust His Plan Even When Things Don’t Make Sense
Romans 8:28 NIV says, “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose.”
God sees the bigger picture; He sees the beginning and the end, even when you’re stuck in the middle. Sometimes in the moment, life feels overwhelming, and you can’t see past the present obstacles you face. But God has good things for you, and He wants you to trust Him.
So do you trust Him?! Do you believe He works all things for your good, even when it may not appear that way?!
He never promised life would be easy, but He promised He would always be by your side, and He knows what’s best from a perspective our human minds can’t see or understand.
3) Never Forget The Power Of Prayer, Your Prayers Impact Your Children Greatly
James 5:16 NIV says, “The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.”
Sometimes in the busyness of daily life, it’s easy to forget how important prayer is. As a Christian mom, when you pray for your children, God hears every single word. He knows the cries of your heart, the deep yearning for your children to come to a knowledge and understanding of truth.
He sees how much you love your children and want safety and protection for them each day, so keep praying those bold and powerful prayers. Keep covering your children in prayer and trust that your prayers are powerful and effective, and greatly impact your children’s lives, even when you don’t see the fruits show right away.
4) The Biblical Truth You Plant In Your Children’s Hearts Is Shaping Them, One Day You Will See The Fruits
Proverbs 22:6 NIV says, “Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it.”
As a mom, you’ve been given authority and responsibility over your children to lead them into truth. This powerful Scripture reminds us that what you plant in their hearts young will impact them in the years to come, even when they are old.
What a huge responsibility, but what a beautiful privilege! You get to plant those seeds of hope in your children’s hearts and watch them grow over the years. You get to see how God’s word shapes them and makes them into the men and women He created them to be.
So keep faithfully planting that hope in your children; they are listening and soaking it all in, even when you may not see the fruits for a long time.
