Children’s minds have a way of running wild and they can get fearful easily. As Christian parents, we can teach them not to dwell on the fearful thoughts, but to face their fears biblically. God has given us the authority over darkness, and we can instill in our children a courageous faith that gives evil no second thought because we are more than conquerors through Jesus (Romans 8:37 NIV).

When fear creeps up on our children, we can direct them into God’s truth that makes evil flee. We live in a world surrounded by darkness and evil, but we can live in peace knowing who is in control of all things.
