As Christian parents, it’s important to start instilling God’s truth in our children’s hearts, they are never too young to start hearing the gospel message. The seeds of truth planted in them now will show years down the road and help keep them on the straight and narrow path of righteousness.

1) Genesis 1:1- God Created The Heavens And The Earth

Genesis 1:1 NIV says “In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.”

The Bible tells us that God made the whole world, and the first 2 humans Adam and Eve were living how God wanted humans to live. He made them a beautiful garden to live in and enjoy. He told them they could enjoy all of the garden but to stay away from one tree because if they ate from that tree they would eventually die.

2) Romans 5:12- Sin Entered The World Through One Man And Death Through Sin

Romans 5:12 NIV says “Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, and in this way death came to all people, because all sinned.”

Humans chose to disobey God and eat from the one tree He asked them not to, the consequence of that was the world became full of sin and death became part of this life. But God had a plan to make everything right again.

3) Romans 3:23- All Have Sinned And Fall Short Of The Glory Of God

Romans 3:23 NIV says “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.”

Because sin was now a reality for all humans it separated them from God their Creator. But God has a plan to bring mankind back to Himself.

God sent His Son Jesus to make a way for humans to reconnect to Him and live forever. 2 Corinthians 5:21 NIV says “God made him who knew no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.”

Jesus was God’s perfect Son who didn’t have any sin and God gave Him to take on all of the world’s sins, to make a way to set us free from sin and death. Through Jesus, our sins can be washed away and we can live a victorious life over sin.

Isaiah 1:18 NIV says “Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow.”

Because Jesus took on our sins and beat death, God washes away our sins by the blood of Jesus when we ask Him to forgive us for our sins, He makes them as white as snow. Sin once burdened us down, but because Jesus died on the cross we no longer have to carry that burden, Jesus carries it for us.

8) Ephesians 2:8-9-You Have Been Saved By Grace, Not By Anything You Did To Earn Salvation

Ephesians 2:8-10 NIV says “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith- and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God- not by works, so that no one can boast.”

Salvation is a gift from God to anyone who will accept it and live for Him. There was nothing anyone has done to earn salvation, it is by God’s grace because He loved His creation and wanted to save them from sin and death.

9) 2 Corinthians 5:17- If Anyone Is In Christ, The New Creation Has Come

2 Corinthians 5:17 NIV “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come. The old has gone, the new is here!”

Jesus makes us a new creation, so we can put off the sinful nature and put on righteousness in Christ. When we choose to make Jesus the Lord of our lives, we have new hope in Him and we don’t have to live according to earthly desires, but we live according to God’s Word.

10) Galatians 2:20- I Have Been Crucified With Christ, I No Longer Live, But Christ Lives Within Me

Galatians 2:20 NIV says “I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives within me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.”

As a new creation in Christ, we no longer live for ourselves, but we live to follow Jesus and for His glory. We live by faith and place our trust in Him.

1 John 2:17 NIV says “The world and its desires pass away, but whoever does the will of God lives forever.”

We live in a world with evil and bad things happen, but God is still in control and has a good plan to make everything right again. God offers the gift of everlasting life to anyone who will accept it, follow Him, and do His will.

Romans 10:17 NIV says “Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the Word about Christ.”

1 Corinthians 2:9 NIV says “What no eye has seen, what no ear has heard, and what no human mind has conceived”- the things God has prepared for those who love Him.”

God has prepared amazing things for those who love Him, He gives us hope and a reason to be joyful even when life is hard. So we can always find strength in the Lord to get us through, and we can live each day knowing that God will make all things perfect again in His timing.

As Christian parents, we can introduce the gospel message to our children in an easy way for them to understand. Teaching them the hope we have in Christ and the amazing things God has in store for those who love Him. And the importance of living by faith and placing your trust in Jesus.
