How can mothers integrate motherhood and faith? How can you live out your Christian faith in your motherhood journey? How can your faith in the Lord help direct the decisions you make as a biblical mother?
As followers of Christ, we should invite God to be a part of every aspect of our lives. We should seek His wisdom when making decisions and prayerfully ask for His direction. Because living a life for the Lord means one aligned with His Word, so we must apply His truths to our lives and strive to live accordingly.
In my motherhood journey, the more I look to God’s Word for guidance the more I feel a deep inner peace over my children and my life as a mother. Because knowing that God is the one directing my steps and guiding me each day, helps me live with assurance that I am on the right path. And giving to Him the burdens that are too heavy for me to bear, relieves me of unnecessary worries and concerns that only pull me down.
I trust that if I stay focused on the Lord, I will successfully lead my children in the direction He has for them. My faith directs the choices I make as a mother and I would be lost without clinging to this hope I have through my faith in the Lord.
There are ways for mothers to integrate faith and motherhood so the two become intertwined. A mother who desires to live for the Lord can learn to apply biblical truths as she strives to live as a biblical mother. Living a Christian life means being intentional and choosing to partake in things that please the Lord and ones that are edifying to your spiritual growth. Motherhood is a beautiful blessing and God wants us to invite Him to be a part of it and to lean on Him for the strength when it gets hard.
