Ways To Raise A Godly Son

As Christian parents, we can raise a godly son who lives by faith and chooses to serve the Lord in all he does. Proverbs 22:6 NIV says “Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it.” We want to raise our sons to be men of God who live their lives according to God’s Word and who reflect Christ’s love toward others.

God’s Word can transform any life, and when we apply biblical truths to how we raise our sons, we will see them develop into godly men who have a passion for God’s truth.

As a Christian mother, I want to raise my sons to be godly men who seek the Lord’s guidance and direction over their lives. My husband and I want to instill in them a passion for God’s Word and a hunger to know the Lord deeply. That they can be so certain of who they are in Christ, that they stay on the steady and straight path of truth.

I know that what we instill in our son’s hearts at a young age, will help shape them into the men they will become. The seeds planted now will bloom and become fruitful, and one day we will see the fruits in the lives of our sons.
